Appalachian Mountains Joint Venture: The Appalachian Mountains Joint Venture (AMJV) is one of 18 habitat Joint Venture partnerships in the United States. It is comprised of state and federal government agencies, non-governmental organizations, universities, and industries that work together to prioritize and coordinate conservation activities while building upon scientific knowledge. They work with researchers and resource managers to design and implement effective conservation projects for native bird species throughout their annual life cycles, targeting breeding, migration, and over-wintering areas.

Amphibian and Reptile Conservancy: ARC saves herps through a strategic, scientific, and passionate approach that allows us to make a real difference. We implement localized, regional, species-based PARCAs (Priority Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Areas) and weave them together across the country into a national strategy capable of making great impact. We practice Transformative Science with the urgency required to save those species and ecosystems at greatest risk.

American University: The Department of Environmental Sciences at American University trains students to become effective advocates for the environment. The curriculum consists of rigorous science- and policy-based courses and experiential learning that prepare students for exciting careers in the environmental field.

American Forest Resource Council: AFRC is a regional trade association whose purpose is to advocate for sustained yield timber harvests on public timberlands throughout the West to enhance forest health and resistance to fire, insects, and disease. We do this by promoting active management to attain productive public forests, protect adjoining private forests, and assure community stability. We work to improve federal and state laws, regulations, policies and decisions regarding access to and management of public forest lands and protection of all forest lands.

Working together, we strive to cultivate the many conservation benefits family-owned forests provide—and demonstrate their value to American communities, companies and landowners alike.

American Bird Conservancy: American Bird Conservancy is dedicated to conserving wild birds and their habitats throughout the Americas. With an emphasis on achieving results and working in partnership, we take on the greatest problems facing birds today.

America's Longleaf Restoration Initiative: The America's Longleaf Restoration Initiative (ALRI) is a collaborative effort of multiple public and private sector partners that actively supports range-wide efforts to restore and conserve longleaf pine ecosystems.

The 5BRC is working to apply the region's best thinking across sectors, developing creative and effective solutions that will generate both community and ecological resilience for future natural events.

Translated Resources for Non-English Speaking Producers - Library on farmers.gov: This new page is searchable and can be filtered by language to better serve staff and producers alike. The library includes publications on conservation, disaster recovery, loans, and other topics, translated into 10 languages, with more to come. This library will grow quickly over the next few months as we begin stocking it with all the translated materials from each FPAC agency.
