Cultural resources are physical objects or places of past human activity, such as a historic site, object, landscape, structure or even a natural feature of significance to a group of people traditionally associated with it. Such examples can include archiological sites, buildings or old roads, prehistoric village sites, rock inscriptions, and battlefields. These resources often yield unique information about past societies and environments that are of importance to society today.

These results are a compilation of climate change vulnerability assessments in the southeastern portion of the LCC, covering the area from southern West Virginia, south to Alabama, west to eastern Kentucky and Tennessee. Data Needs Assessment

The Data Needs Assessment project was undertaken to evaluate existing data for the Appalachian LCC region, package relevant datasets, review commonly used conservation planning tools, provide interpretive text and graphics for datasets and tools, and identify data gaps that could improve conservation planning in the Appalachians. A suite of core conservation
planning products and data from principal investigators at Clemson University are now available to the Cooperative.
