It is the oldest and largest of the state's five water management districts. CalRecycle Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF)

CalRecycle established the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Grant and Loan Programs to provide financial incentives for capital investments in infrastructure for aerobic composting, anaerobic digestion and recycling and manufacturing facilities that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF) receives Cap-and-Trade auction proceeds appropriated by the Legislature and Governor for projects that support the goals of AB 32.
