Southwest Georgia Project is on a mission to educate, engage, and empower communities using a variety of programs and strategies to advance real social change in Southwest Georgia and beyond. They aim to develop a more accessible and community-oriented food system; increase opportunities to family and historically underserved farms; and build sustainable and just movements to shift social norms.

Translated Resources for Non-English Speaking Producers - Library on farmers.gov

This new page is searchable and can be filtered by language to better serve staff and producers alike. The library includes publications on conservation, disaster recovery, loans, and other topics, translated into 10 languages, with more to come. This library will grow quickly over the next few months as we begin stocking it with all the translated materials from each FPAC agency.

Tribal Stewards Inclusion Crews: Northwest Youth Corps

Our Tribal Stewards Inclusion Crews aim to inspire the next generation of Tribal land stewards. Tribal Stewards leaders and members complete work projects with the guidance and mentorship of trained conservation professionals. Emphasis is placed on holistic development, on the basis that healthy land supports healthy people.
The Tribal Stewards Inclusion Crews follow our Youth Camping program structure and combine education and job skill training with outdoor adventure for 16 to 19 year olds.
