The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service recently partnered with the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities and mano-Y-ola to complete a demographic study of Hispanic family forest landowners across the United States, including Puerto Rico.
“The Hispanic population is one of the largest and fastest growing in the United States, yet very little is known about their relationship to land ownership,” said Nolo Martinez, co-president of man-Y-ola.
