The Tennessee River Basin Network's 2022 Shade Your Stream grant cycle is now open! Applications can be submitted up until 11:59pm EST, May 30, 2022.
Shade Your Stream is a riparian education concept that uses an extremely cost-effective method to restore riparian buffers through soft-touch restoration, also known as livestaking.
Benefits:
- Grants up to $10,000 per project
- Technical assistance and training in livestaking
Eligibility:
- Project must occur in the Tennessee River Basin in Tennessee
- Watershed and community organizations
- Municipalities
- Non-governmental organizations
